Engineer Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with Dr. Bassem Kalila, Chairman of Kalila Exhibitions and Conferences Company, the organizer of the “Nile Property Expo” exhibitions, to discuss opportunities for joint cooperation, particularly regarding the promotion and export of Egyptian real estate.
Strong Focus on Real Estate Export
At the beginning of the meeting, Engineer Randa El-Menshawy emphasized that the Ministry of Housing places great importance on the export of Egyptian real estate as one of the key pillars for supporting the national economy and attracting more foreign investment. She highlighted the role played by the “Nile Property Expo” exhibitions in marketing and promoting Egyptian real estate abroad.
The Minister added that the ministry is working to create an attractive investment environment by streamlining procedures and offering a variety of incentives to real estate developers, contributing to strengthening the competitiveness of Egyptian real estate in regional and international markets.

She also stressed the ministry’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with real estate development companies and relevant stakeholders to market the integrated urban projects being implemented by the Egyptian government, particularly in new cities, further reinforcing Egypt’s position as a leading destination for real estate investment.
Dr. Bassem Kalila reviewed several proposals for joint cooperation, highlighting the “Manazel” project, which will serve as the first permanent sales center for Egyptian real estate development companies outside Egypt. The center is scheduled to open in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, next September and will initially host 10 Egyptian real estate developers, aiming to increase international property sales through a year-round permanent presence.
He explained that Riyadh will be the first international branch in the “Manazel” network, with plans to expand over the next two years into the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Qatar.
The meeting also addressed a proposal to allocate a fully equipped space within the “Manazel” center for the Ministry of Housing to promote Egypt’s national development projects and showcase investment opportunities in the Egyptian real estate sector. The dedicated space would serve as a permanent platform to introduce national projects to investors and prospective buyers abroad.
The discussions further explored opportunities for cooperation through the “Nile Property Expo” exhibition series, including a proposal to establish an official Ministry of Housing pavilion at these exhibitions to promote national projects and new cities while providing services and information to investors and clients interested in the Egyptian real estate market.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue coordination and cooperation during the coming period in support of the government’s efforts to expand the export of Egyptian real estate and strengthen its presence in international markets.
