Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, followed up on the latest developments regarding the regularization of land status in new cities. This comes in response to the directives of the political leadership to safeguard citizens’ rights and to develop fully integrated urban communities.
The minister stressed the importance of setting clear timelines to accomplish tasks, improving coordination between city authorities, adhering to schedules, expediting implementation, and continuously monitoring the file to overcome obstacles and ensure comprehensive development.

Officials from the Ministry of Housing carried out field visits to oversee land regularization efforts in cities such as New Sphinx, El Shorouk, New Obour, and New 6th of October, where they reviewed the procedures adopted in handling real estate files.
The tour also included following up on Badr City to address delays in submitting documents or financial commitments, which contributes to safeguarding state rights and encouraging serious investors to complete their procedures.
During the follow-up, current contracts were reviewed, challenges were discussed, and efforts were made to accelerate legal verification to finalize contracts with committed investors. This step aims to strengthen real estate stability and encourage investment in the new cities in line with the state’s objectives.
