Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting with the New Obour City Authority to follow up on ongoing projects and administrative files, in the presence of officials from the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), and the city’s executive body.
During the meeting, the development plan for residential neighborhoods and infrastructure works was presented. These included road maintenance and axis planning, the construction of bus stations, installation of directional signs, road lighting, and landscaping of green areas, in addition to cleaning and upgrading the sewage networks.

The discussions also covered the removal of encroachments and violations, as well as the offering of new plots and investment opportunities. The Minister followed up on the regularization of lands recently added to the city, instructing officials to accelerate the completion of all files and make vacant lands available for investors.
The Head of the New Obour City Authority presented proposals for new investment opportunities, including educational and healthcare services, exhibition and community facilities, as well as residential and commercial development projects within the city.
