Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, visited New Alamein City today. He began his tour by inspecting the progress of the “Housing for All Egyptians” project, the C3 Bridge, and the Heritage City parking garage. He was accompanied by several officials from the ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the head of the city’s development authority.
The minister also toured the site of the presidential initiative’s residential buildings under the “Housing for All Egyptians” project, which includes 83 buildings with 1,992 housing units. He reviewed the ongoing infrastructure, construction, and finishing works, emphasizing the need to expedite the completion of building facades and site coordination efforts.
Minister El-Sherbiny also visited the project to construct a bridge at the intersection of the C3 Road with the high-speed train and the Qabbari railway line in New Alamein City. He listened to a detailed briefing from project officials covering all aspects of the work. He directed them to conduct a traffic study and expand the road width to accommodate the expected traffic volume.
Additionally, the Minister of Housing inspected the construction project of the parking garage in Heritage City, which will accommodate approximately 2,000 vehicles. He stressed the importance of accelerating the pace of work to ensure the project’s completion within the scheduled timeframe.
