Minister of Housing, Sherif El-Sherbini, received Ismailia Governor Major General Akram Galal at the New Administrative Capital to discuss joint cooperation, in the presence of officials from both the ministry and the governorate. The minister emphasized support for water, sanitation, and housing projects in the governorate to achieve the vision of improving services and living standards.
The governor thanked the minister for his swift response to the governorate’s challenges, highlighting the positive results of cooperation in enhancing services across Ismailia’s districts.

Discussions covered drinking water and sanitation projects in the governorate, including the establishment of new plants and solutions for existing ones. The status of housing projects was also reviewed, with a focus on overcoming obstacles to meet citizens’ needs.
The minister instructed the completion of unfinished housing projects, the marketing of unused land, as well as continued coordination to remove any barriers facing projects, while identifying future requirements for service expansion.
