Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, confirmed that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has directed the continuation of water-related projects aimed at securing water supply, particularly in villages across all governorates.
The minister explained that access to clean water will reach 99%, while wastewater treatment coverage will increase to 70%. He further stressed that the state is implementing major projects in the field of sanitation, especially within the new cities.

He added that there is a strategy to export Egyptian real estate products, alongside the ministry’s plans to launch a new platform dedicated to selling Egyptian properties to foreigners, given the significant interest in this sector both locally and internationally.
In addition, he revealed that the platform will also provide the second phase of residential units for citizens, as the ministry plans to soon offer 25,000 housing units in the new cities.
The minister also pointed out that 1.2 million housing units have already been built as part of the “Housing for All Egyptians” project, with a focus on meeting the needs of all segments of Egyptian society by providing them with suitable housing.
