Omar Hesham Talaat, Chief Business Development Officer of Talaat Moustafa Group, announced that Madinaty Golf Club—a prominent club within the group—recently hosted an international golf tournament aimed at raising awareness about polio eradication. The event featured more than 60 amateur and professional golfers from various nationalities and was organized in collaboration with Rotary Cairo Golf Madinaty as part of Talaat Moustafa Group’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility.
Youssef Kadry, Head of Commercial Business Development at Talaat Moustafa Group, noted that this tournament is part of a series of community-oriented initiatives hosted by Madinaty Golf Club over the past four years. Leveraging the club’s acclaimed reputation, recognized as Egypt’s and Africa’s Best Golf Course, the event supports the club’s commitment to making a positive social impact.
Dr. Iman El-Ghamrawy, founder and Vice President of Rotary Cairo Golf Madinaty, highlighted that this tournament marked the first collaboration between Madinaty Golf Club and Rotary Cairo Golf Madinaty for a charitable cause. She emphasized the event as a model of fruitful cooperation between civil society organizations and major private sector entities like Talaat Moustafa Group.
Madinaty Golf Club was named Africa’s Best Golf Course of 2023, outshining over 900 other courses across the continent. It has also earned the title of Egypt’s Best Golf Course for three consecutive years (2021, 2022, and 2023), as recognized by the World Golf Awards.
