Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and his accompanying officials toured the Latin District project, one of the most prominent residential developments in New Alamein City.
During the visit, the Prime Minister received a briefing from Eng. Randa El-Menshawy on the project. She explained that the Latin District is being developed over an area of 404 feddans and includes residential zones comprising 52 residential complexes with a total of 178 apartment buildings, providing 10,316 housing units.
The project features Mediterranean-inspired architectural designs while incorporating the latest urban planning concepts to create a fully integrated community with comprehensive services and infrastructure.
The Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities emphasized that the Latin District represents an advanced model for modern residential communities, combining distinctive architectural design with integrated infrastructure and a wide range of services.

She noted that the ministry is committed to accelerating project completion while maintaining the highest quality standards and ensuring the timely delivery of housing units to beneficiaries.
Dr. Eng. Mohamed Khalafallah, Head of the New Alamein City Development Authority, stated that the project reflects one of the largest urban development achievements in New Alamein City. He noted that 1,940 housing units have already been delivered, while an additional 5,368 units are scheduled for handover in July 2026.
This milestone highlights the project’s significant progress as it moves from the construction phase to actual unit delivery, in line with the state’s strategy to accelerate project completion and provide integrated urban communities that meet the highest standards of quality of life.
During the tour, the Prime Minister inspected the readiness of residential units in Zone 2 for handover. He also reviewed the progress of interior finishing works and site landscaping while ensuring that the housing units, utilities, and services are fully prepared ahead of completing the handover procedures to customers in accordance with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
