Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, prime minister, inaugurated the Government Services Complex in Sandbast Village, Zefta Center, Gharbia Governorate, as part of the presidential “Hayah Karima” (Decent Life) initiative. The project aims to improve the quality of services provided to citizens in villages and facilitate access to them.
During his tour of the complex, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of benefiting from such projects to simplify procedures and improve the delivery of government services, providing citizens with more efficient services and contributing to a better quality of life in Egyptian villages.
Services in One Place
The Prime Minister explained that the purpose of establishing government services complexes is to provide citizens with services in a more organized and timely manner, while ensuring that requests are handled efficiently and completed in accordance with established procedures, thereby strengthening citizens’ confidence in the new work system.
Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development and Environment, said that the state is expanding the establishment of government services complexes across various governorates, considering them an important means of speeding up the handling of citizens’ requests and completing procedures in accordance with applicable regulations.
Details of the Sandbast Complex
Major General Hany El-Eskandarany, Head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction, said that construction of the complex began in November 2022 through the Central North Coast Reconstruction Agency. He explained that the building occupies an area of 666 square meters and consists of three floors.
The complex houses several service agencies under one roof to save citizens time and effort. These include a technology center with 17 service windows, a civil registry, a real estate registration office, a supply office, the local administrative unit, a post office, the local popular council, and a social solidarity office.
Serving Thousands of Citizens
Major General Essam El-Gharably, Head of the Central North Coast Reconstruction Agency, said that the complex was designed to provide a wide range of government services at a single location, supporting the state’s efforts to improve service levels in villages.
Dr. Major General Alaa Abdel Moaty, Governor of Gharbia, explained that the complex represents a model for integrated services, serving residents of Sandbast, Kafr El-Geneidy, and Kafr Farsis villages, in addition to 19 surrounding hamlets, by providing a more developed and accessible service environment.
During his inspection of operations at the complex, the prime minister followed up on the receipt of citizens’ requests, stressing the importance of activating all available services, responding promptly, and completing transactions in accordance with the specified regulations.
