The General Authority for Construction and Housing Cooperatives has announced the launch of 314 premium residential units for sale across several new cities and governorates as part of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities’ efforts to provide a diverse range of housing options that meet citizens’ needs and support the expansion of cooperative housing projects.
Major General Engineer Walid El-Baroudi, Chairman of the General Authority for Construction and Housing Cooperatives, confirmed that the new offering comes with the support and close follow-up of Engineer Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, with the aim of expanding homeownership opportunities by providing residential units in prime locations at competitive prices suitable for various income groups.
The authority’s chairman explained that the offered residential units are distributed across several new cities and key areas to ensure broad geographic coverage. The locations include New Cairo, 6th of October City, Badr City, 15th of May City, 10th of Ramadan City, Suez Governorate, Port Said Governorate, and El Arish City in North Sinai Governorate.

He added that the unit sizes range from 47 square meters to 155 square meters, providing multiple options for prospective buyers, whether small or large families, while taking into account the varying financial capabilities of citizens.
According to the Authority, the terms and specifications booklets will be available until July 30, 2026, through the following locations: the headquarters of the General Authority for Construction and Housing Cooperatives; the Authority’s branches in Suez and Port Said; the Authority’s branch in El Arish; and the North Sinai Governorate Building.
The Chairman emphasized that the allocation of the residential units will be carried out through mechanisms that ensure the highest levels of transparency and equal opportunity among applicants, with public lotteries scheduled at 12:00 noon on the dates specified in the terms and conditions booklet for each project.
The lotteries for the projects in New Cairo, 6th of October City, Badr City, 15th of May City, and 10th of Ramadan City will be held at the Authority’s headquarters, while the lotteries for the projects in Suez, Port Said, and El Arish will take place at the Authority’s local branches and designated venues in each governorate.
El-Baroudi also highlighted a special advantage for applicants wishing to make full upfront payment. Those who pay the full value of the unit in cash will be allowed to select their residential unit directly before the public lottery, in accordance with the regulations and procedures established by the Authority.
