Bassam Mohamed Fadl, Head of the El Shorouk City Development Authority, confirmed the continuation of security campaigns to seize dump trucks, cement mixers, and meat transport vehicles operating without permits. This initiative comes as part of the Authority’s commitment to preserving the city’s civilized appearance.

Large-Scale Campaign to Seize Unauthorized Vehicles and Construction Equipment

The Head of the Authority added that the violations have been seized and held at the Authority’s headquarters, with legal action taken against the owners. He stressed that there will be no leniency in confronting random violations and that firm and decisive measures will be taken.

He also emphasized the importance of coordination between the security department and neighborhood heads with the relevant security authorities. Both daytime and nighttime campaigns will continue to monitor any irregularities involving unauthorized vehicles and equipment used in illegal construction, with the aim of seizing and confiscating them to maintain the city’s aesthetic and orderly image.
