The New Beni Suef City Development Authority has continued its intensive campaigns aimed at removing building violations and addressing encroachments under the supervision and directives of Engineer Ahmed Abdel Gaber Abdel Lah, Head of the City Authority.
These efforts are carried out in coordination with the Urban Development Police Department in New Beni Suef City, along with the authority’s security and district departments. The campaigns are part of the state’s broader strategy to maintain an orderly urban appearance and prevent all forms of encroachment in new cities.
The Head of the New Beni Suef City Authority explained that the campaign resulted in the immediate removal of several building violations. In the “Build Your House 2” area, two violations were removed after property owners carried out concrete construction in rear and side setbacks without obtaining the required permits, in breach of the applicable building regulations in the area.

He further noted that the campaign also targeted the removal of encroachments on roads, sidewalks, and green areas in the city center. As a result, 17 road occupancy reports were issued against several street vendors who had occupied sidewalks and spaces in front of shops in a way that obstructed pedestrian movement and negatively affected the city’s orderly appearance.
The authority confirmed that all necessary legal actions were taken against the violators in coordination with the Urban Development Police, including issuing official reports and referring them to the competent authorities for the required legal procedures in accordance with the law.
Engineer Ahmed Abdel Gaber Abdel Lah, Head of the New Beni Suef City Authority, emphasized that the authority is taking a firm stance on building violations and encroachments, stressing that there will be no leniency in enforcing the law equally on everyone. He added that monitoring and inspection campaigns are ongoing on a daily basis to detect any violations or encroachments within the city.
He also stated that no construction activities will be permitted without obtaining official licenses and no commercial activity will be allowed without securing the necessary legal permits in order to preserve public order and reinforce state authority while maintaining the civilized urban image targeted in new cities.
He pointed out that these campaigns are being implemented in line with the directives and instructions of Engineer Ammar Mandour, Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority for the Development and Construction Sector, concerning the removal of all violations and the prevention of random construction and encroachments on roads and sidewalks in a way that ensures discipline and preserves the planned character of new urban communities.
