The 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority has continued to carry out intensive field campaigns across various residential neighborhoods and main axes as part of a comprehensive plan designed to restore urban order and address all forms of violations, encroachments, and illegal use of public spaces.
This is in line with the directives of Engineer Randa El Minshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and under the supervision of Engineer Alaa Abdel-Laa Mostafa, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority and Supervisor of Hadayek Al-Asher Authority.
These efforts fall within the Ministry of Housing and the New Urban Communities Authority’s strategy to enhance the efficiency of new cities, improve living standards, and preserve the urban appearance of streets and major corridors.
Field Campaigns to Remove Encroachments in 10th of Ramadan City
The campaigns covered several key roads and main axes, in addition to densely populated residential areas. The operations led to the removal of all encroachments and violations related to unauthorized cafés in the Jordanian area, which had been obstructing the movement of pedestrians and vehicles.
Additional large-scale actions were also implemented to remove encroachments in the First District (Al-Zohour), as part of the authority’s ongoing plan to restore order, ensure smooth traffic flow, and preserve the city’s urban identity.
The authority affirmed that it will continue taking immediate measures against any random activities or illegal encroachments and will not permit their recurrence after removal.
The campaigns were conducted with the participation of departments responsible for encroachments and violations, along with security, traffic management, equipment, cleanliness and beautification, and residential districts, in full coordination with the utilities police. This ensured swift intervention and decisive handling of any violations detected during the operations.
This coordination reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen continuous field monitoring, maintain the aesthetic appearance of streets and squares, and uphold discipline across the city around the clock.
Emphasis on Continuing Daily and Surprise Campaigns
Engineer Alaa Abdel-Laa Mostafa emphasized the continuation of daily and surprise campaigns throughout all areas of 10th of Ramadan City, along with a firm zero-tolerance approach toward any violations or encroachments that distort the public image or hinder citizen movement.
He affirmed that preserving the city’s urban appearance remains a top priority, alongside efforts to provide a safe and well-organized urban environment that ensures residents’ comfort and enhances quality of life within the city.
He further noted that the authority is working according to an integrated field plan aimed at improving service levels, upgrading roads and axes, and ensuring smooth traffic flow, in line with the ongoing development boom in new cities.
Comprehensive Development Plan to Improve Quality of Life
The head of the authority pointed out that 10th of Ramadan City is one of Egypt’s most important industrial and urban cities, which necessitates continued intensive field operations to preserve its civilized and urban character.
He added that these campaigns are not limited to removing encroachments but also aim to improve the overall environment and support stability within residential neighborhoods, ensuring better services for citizens and enhancing the city’s status as a leading model of modern urban development.
