The development authorities of several new cities continued implementing intensive field campaigns to preserve the urban appearance, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
The efforts come as part of the directives of Engineer Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, to maintain order across new cities, firmly address all forms of encroachments and illegal construction, and remove unauthorized occupations.
In Hadayek October City, field campaigns continued, including the removal of building violations on several plots in the Gardenia, Hadayek Al Yasmeen, and Al Ferdous areas.
The campaigns also stopped attempts to illegally change the use of residential units, removed unauthorized wooden formwork and illegal additional floors, confiscated the equipment used in the violations, and initiated the necessary legal procedures.
The Hadayek October City Development Authority also continued additional campaigns targeting street vendor occupations in several areas, including Hadayek Al Orchid (390 Feddans) and Horus Street, where all unauthorized occupations were removed.
In 10th of Ramadan City, the city authority successfully halted several attempts at illegal construction and the unauthorized conversion of residential units into commercial activities. It also stopped unlicensed building expansions in the Tenth District and the “Build Your Home” area, while confiscating the equipment used as part of ongoing field monitoring to prevent violations before they become established.
In Badr City, the development authority continued implementing an integrated plan that included campaigns to collect outstanding water consumption fees and detect illegal water connections across various neighborhoods. Official violation reports were issued, and legal action was taken against offenses involving road occupations, the storage of construction materials, and unauthorized changes in property use.
In 6th of October City, the city authority intensified its campaigns to remove occupations and encroachments along major roads and commercial areas in the eastern, southern, and northern sectors.
The campaigns covered Gamal Abdel Nasser Axis, El Kafrawy Axis, the Tourist Promenade, Al Wageeh Area, and Youth Housing, resulting in the confiscation of seized items and the implementation of the necessary legal measures.
In Obour City, the new security system achieved notable success during the first phase of its implementation, contributing to improved order in several key areas, including the Youth District and the National Housing Area in the Eighth District.
In Hadayek 10th of Ramadan City, the city authority continued its campaigns to remove occupations and encroachments across several neighborhoods, including Al Fayrouz District (28), Al Zohour District (29), and Al Qornfol District (30).
The campaigns resulted in the removal of encroachments caused by the extension of commercial activities onto sidewalks and road rights-of-way, while legal measures were taken against violators, contributing to smoother traffic flow and the preservation of the city’s urban appearance.
