Engineer Yasser Abdel Halim, head of the Hadayek October City Development Authority, affirmed that, as part of the authority’s approach to maintaining direct communication with citizens and in implementation of the directives of Engineer Randa El Menshawy, minister of housing, utilities, and urban communities, the city’s regular meeting with residents was held.
The meeting brought together representatives of the residents of the Al Kawthar area (formerly 607 residential buildings) and the Al Qornfol area (formerly 262 residential buildings) at the city authority headquarters, in the presence of the authority’s leadership and the relevant departments.
During the meeting, several issues of importance to the residents of both areas were discussed. The Head of the Authority listened to various proposals and inquiries, emphasizing that every request would be promptly reviewed according to priorities and available resources. He also directed the relevant departments to develop practical solutions and implementation timelines to ensure the highest level of services and improve the quality of life throughout the city.
Engineer Yasser Abdel Halim stressed that the regular meetings with residents have become one of the fundamental pillars of the city’s operational framework, as they serve as a direct channel for identifying citizens’ needs and monitoring the implementation of assigned tasks on the ground, thereby strengthening trust and fostering a genuine partnership between the city authority and its residents.
Representatives of the Al Kawthar and Al Qornfol areas expressed their appreciation for the city authority’s commitment to maintaining direct dialogue, praising its swift response to many of the residents’ requests. They also emphasized the importance of continuing these meetings due to their positive impact on enhancing communication and improving the quality of services provided.
During the meeting, the head of the authority emphasized that the Hadayek October City Development Authority continues to implement a comprehensive plan to upgrade public services and infrastructure while giving priority to the most urgent demands affecting citizens’ daily lives, in coordination with the various relevant departments.
He also affirmed that the authority continuously monitors the progress of ongoing projects while adhering to the highest standards of quality and timely implementation, in line with the city’s accelerating pace of development.
He explained that direct communication with residents helps accurately identify priorities, enhances operational efficiency, and ensures prompt responses to observations and suggestions, ultimately improving the quality of services provided and increasing citizens’ satisfaction.
