The New Cairo City Development Authority continues its field efforts to confront building violations under the directives of Eng. Ahmed Rashad El-Sharif, Head of the Authority, who emphasized the importance of intensifying monitoring and removing any encroachments or illegal activities within the city’s jurisdiction.
Unauthorized construction work was halted at Mall No. 116 in the City Center area of Fifth Settlement. A concrete-breaking generator used for carrying out unlicensed construction was confiscated, and the necessary legal actions were taken against the violators.

In addition, an immediate demolition was executed to remove violations involving the expansion of a basement ceiling at Al Jazeera Compound Mall in Fifth Settlement, ensuring full compliance with the approved building regulations.
Dr. Eng. Riham Hassan, Deputy Head of the Authority for Fifth Settlement, confirmed the Authority’s ongoing commitment to implementing the directives of its chairman—stressing zero tolerance for any infractions and the prompt enforcement of legal measures to preserve the city’s urban order and civilized appearance.
