The Ministry of Housing has announced the opening of applications for medium-income housing land plots under the “Maskan” program, available until November 13, 2025. The sixth offering of “Maskan” provides 2,333 land plots across the categories of medium, distinguished, and most distinguished housing.
Booking Mechanism and Application Conditions

Reservation deposit: EGP 25,000, paid through a public lottery system with no priority for any application.

Available locations: 18 new cities, including 6th of October, Obour, 10th of Ramadan, Badr, Sadat, and New Aswan.
Payment Systems

Pay the reservation deposit of EGP 25,000 + EGP 1,000 non-refundable study fees.

Complete the down payment within one month of allocation notification, including 1% administrative fees and 0.5% for the Board of Trustees.

The remaining amount is paid over three annual installments at the Central Bank interest rate, with the first installment due one year after land handover.

A late penalty applies if installments are not paid on time.
Booking Procedures via the Online Platform

Visit the website to review available land plots and download the brochure.

Create a new account and fill in details (national ID, email, phone number, etc.).

Select the preferred site and city, then proceed with the electronic procedures to calculate completion status and finalize the booking.

Monitor the number of applicants for each plot during the submission period. If applications are equal or exceed availability, a public lottery will be held.
Refund Mechanism
If no allocation is made, the reservation deposit will be refunded to the applicant via the same bank account and in the same currency paid, after deducting applicable banking fees.
