Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has announced the commencement of handovers for residential units in the “Sakan Misr” project for winners in the city of New West Qena, starting on Sunday, July 6, 2025. The handover process will continue until Thursday, July 31, 2025, in accordance with a specific schedule released by the New West Qena City Authority.
The Minister emphasized the ministry’s commitment to accelerating work across all projects, including infrastructure, roads, and service developments in the areas where units will be delivered. He also highlighted the importance of supporting beneficiaries of land and housing units, especially in Upper Egypt cities, to foster the targeted development in these regions.
Engineer Radwan Abdel Rasheed, Head of the New West Qena City Development Authority, detailed the handover schedule. Unit deliveries will begin on July 6, 2025, and run through July 31, 2025. Units in Building 1 will be handed over on July 6, followed by Building 2 on July 7, Building 3 on July 8, and so on, continuing until Building 15 on July 17. Further handovers include Building 39 on July 20, Building 40 on July 21, Building 20 on July 22, Building 12 on July 23, Building 22 on July 28, and Building 23 on July 29. The final two days, July 30 and 31, will be reserved for recipients who were unable to collect their units on their designated dates.
