Engineer Amr Khattab, spokesperson for the Ministry of Housing, confirmed that the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi aims to provide suitable housing units for low- and middle-income citizens as part of the state’s broader plan to achieve social justice and enhance living standards.
He explained that the Minister of Housing closely monitors the progress of the projects — either through on-site inspections or via specialized teams from the ministry and relevant authorities.

Khattab highlighted that the initiative offers fully finished residential units with comprehensive services and infrastructure, noting the strong public demand for the available units. He emphasized the remarkable success achieved in the first and second phases of the initiative, with vigorous efforts continuing in the third and fourth phases.
Khattab also pointed out that the establishment of new cities has significantly contributed to expanding Egypt’s inhabited area from 7% to 14% of the country’s total land area. He stressed that the initiative is focused on supporting citizens and increasing the number of beneficiaries, including those from the middle-income segment.
