Housing Ministry Offers 18,000 Land Plots in the Tenth Phase of Beit El Watan for Egyptians Abroad

The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities announced that it is closely monitoring the discussions circulating in the media regarding demands to offer additional land plots to accommodate the large number of pending transfers in the “Beit El Watan” project, which have reached about 3,000. The ministry clarified that it is working to meet the needs of Egyptians living abroad by providing as many land plots as possible in strategic locations across the new cities.

In its statement on the project, the ministry noted that the tenth and supplementary phases of Beit El Watan have witnessed the offering of nearly 18,000 residential land plots, whether through the main or the supplementary offering. This represents the largest phase since the project’s launch in 2012, as the total number of plots offered in the previous nine phases reached around 25,000.

In the main tenth phase, the ministry offered about 3,000 land plots, but demand far exceeded expectations, with the project’s official website recording nearly 15,000 transfers during the offering period. To cope with this high demand, the ministry updated the website to handle 15,000 land plots distributed across several cities, including: New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, New Damietta, El Shorouk, New Mansoura, 15th of May City, New Sphinx, Badr, 6th of October, New Obour, New Minya, New Aswan, New October, New Alamein, Capital Gardens, 10th of Ramadan, Beni Suef, New Sohag, New Assiut, and New Qena. This expansion resulted in the reservation of 13,000 land plots within the main phase.

To absorb the remaining number of pending transfers, the ministry launched a supplementary phase that included about 4,700 additional land plots through the project’s website, located in prime areas within the cities of: 6th of October, New Damietta, 15th of May, Obour, El Shorouk, Badr, New Sphinx, New Obour, New October, New Alamein, New Beni Suef, 10th of Ramadan, Sadat, Borg El Arab, Qena, and New Nasser. The supplementary phase attracted significant interest from Egyptians abroad, with nearly 3,500 people submitting initial reservations during the first week of the offering, reflecting the strong demand for this project.

In conclusion, the Ministry of Housing reaffirmed its commitment to expanding the offering of more land plots under the “Beit El Watan” initiative, aiming to fulfill the needs of Egyptians living abroad. It also emphasized that all offerings are carried out according to well-studied plans that ensure the project’s objectives are achieved, providing land in prime locations that meet all aspirations in future phases.
