Heads of the New City Authorities, including 10th of Ramadan, 6th of October, and Badr, affirmed that, in line with the directives of Engineer Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and Dr. Engineer Walid Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing for New Urban Communities Affairs, efforts are continuing to eliminate informal practices and maintain order across new cities.
Engineer Alaa Abd El Laah Mostafa, head of the 10th of Ramadan City Authority and supervisor of Hadayek 10th of Ramadan City Authority, led a large-scale campaign to remove illegal occupations and encroachments at the city’s internal bus terminal.
The campaign was carried out in coordination with the 10th of Ramadan Police Command, the Third Police Station, the Construction Police, the Utilities Police, and with the participation of the Development, Encroachments, Security, Traffic and Equipment, Sanitation, and Beautification departments.
The campaign was part of the Authority’s plan to enforce discipline within the terminal, facilitate citizens’ movement, ensure the smooth operation of public transport and internal service vehicles, and preserve the city’s civilized appearance.
The Head of the Authority explained that the campaign targeted illegal occupations and encroachments extending from commercial shops onto roadways, which had obstructed pedestrian and vehicle movement and caused congestion inside the terminal.
He added that the campaign resulted in the removal of all occupations obstructing citizens and transportation, as well as the demolition of 10 illegal awnings erected in violation of regulations in front of commercial shops. The campaign reopened pedestrian passages, improved traffic flow, restored order, and enhanced the site’s overall appearance.
Engineer Alaa Abd El Laah Mostafa stressed that field campaigns will continue in coordination with the relevant authorities and that no return of informal practices obstructing citizens or transportation will be tolerated. Legal action will be taken immediately against violators.
Engineer Nader Zaafar, head of the 6th of October City Development Authority, confirmed that the authority continues implementing its daily campaigns to eliminate illegal occupations and street vendors while preserving the city’s aesthetic appearance and ensuring smooth traffic flow across all sectors.
Under the leadership of Engineer Hossam Hosny, Deputy Head of the Authority for Development, in the presence of Khaled El Sayad, Head of the Encroachments Department in the Southern Sector, and in coordination with the Utilities Investigation Department, a large-scale inspection campaign was conducted along the city’s main roads to prevent waste scavengers and eliminate random street activities.
The Head of the Authority stated that the campaign resulted in the confiscation of a food cart in front of City Scape Mall, a coffee cart on the Central Axis, an orange juice cart, and a liver sandwich display stand in Al Hosary Square, as well as a coffee machine from the Central Axis in the Second District.
The campaign also removed and confiscated 30 chairs and three tables from a café in Al Hosary Square, along with two large iron display stands used for selling electrical tools. In addition, 12 carts selling figs and corn from various roads and a poultry cage from the First District were confiscated.
He confirmed that all confiscated items were handed over to the Security Department to complete the necessary legal procedures, while daily inspection campaigns will continue to address violations, eliminate all forms of illegal occupations, maintain order, and preserve the civilized appearance of 6th of October City.
Engineer El Sayed Amin, Head of the Badr City Development Authority, led a large-scale campaign to remove illegal occupations and encroachments in the Green Valley area. The campaign aimed to preserve the development and infrastructure improvements completed in the area and prevent any practices that could restore informal conditions.
The campaign was carried out with the participation of Engineer Mohamed Mostafa, Deputy Head of the Authority for Development, Engineer El Sayed Saeed, Supervisor of the Development Department, and Yasser Abdallah, Director of the Security Department. It targeted the removal of all illegal occupations and encroachments while taking immediate legal action against violators to preserve the area’s civilized appearance.
Engineer El Sayed Amin affirmed that the City Authority will continue its daily inspection campaigns to safeguard completed development projects and will not allow the return of any illegal occupations or encroachments that undermine the state’s efforts to upgrade Badr City. He stressed that the law will be enforced firmly and without exception.
For his part, Engineer Mohamed Mostafa, Deputy Head of the Authority for Development, emphasized that preserving completed development projects is just as important as implementing them.
He noted that development teams continue conducting regular field inspections to monitor violations and address them immediately, adding that campaigns will continue throughout all neighborhoods to ensure the sustainability of the city’s civilized appearance and full public order.
Yasser Abdallah, Director of the Security Department, also confirmed that the Security Department will continue providing full support to field campaigns to ensure their efficient implementation while firmly confronting any attempts to restore illegal occupations or encroachments, safeguarding public order and protecting the development achievements in Badr City.
