Housing Ministry Announces Terms, Locations, and Prices for Housing for All Egyptians Units

The Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Support Fund has announced the launch of a new phase of the “Housing for All Egyptians” project, aimed at low- and middle-income citizens. Applications will open on July 8, 2025, and continue until August 7, 2025. This initiative seeks to provide affordable housing units with long-term installment plans in new cities such as New Obour, 10th of Ramadan, and others.

Applicants must be Egyptian citizens aged over 21 years and are only allowed to apply for one unit. They must not have previously benefited from government housing units or any type of real estate financing support.

Income Limits

  • For low-income individuals:

    • Maximum monthly income: EGP 12,000 (or EGP 144,000 annually)

    • For families: EGP 15,000 monthly (or EGP 180,000 annually)

  • For middle-income individuals:

    • Maximum monthly income: EGP 20,000 (or EGP 240,000 annually)

    • For families: EGP 25,000 monthly (or EGP 300,000 annually)

Financing Options

The program offers two mortgage systems:

  • For low-income applicants:

    • Down payment: EGP 50,000

    • Interest rate: 8%

    • Repayment period: up to 20 years

  • For middle-income applicants:

    • Down payment: EGP 100,000

    • Interest rate: 12%

    • Repayment period: up to 20 years

Required Documents

Applicants must provide the following documents:

  • Copy of national ID card

  • Recent income statement

  • Utility bill (e.g., electricity, gas, or water)

  • Marriage certificate (if applicable)

  • Birth certificates of children (if applicable)

  • Social insurance report (printout)

  • Proof of down payment (booking fee receipt)

  • Payment receipt for the conditions brochure

The Fund has also urged previous applicants to withdraw their booking fees before June 2025 if they wish to reapply during this phase.

The “Housing for All Egyptians” project aims to enable families to access adequate housing while promoting social justice and equal opportunity in housing distribution.
