Engineer Sherif El-Shorbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the start of the handover process for residential land plots under the “Beit Al Watan” project, which is dedicated to Egyptians living abroad. The process will cover the Third District and North El Rehab areas in New Cairo, beginning on Sunday, November 2, 2025, and continuing until February 5, 2026, according to the official schedule.
The minister emphasized that this step aligns with the directives of the political leadership to strengthen ties with Egyptians abroad by providing them with residential land plots that allow them to build their homes in accordance with specified regulations.
He added that the Ministry continues to focus on offering diverse, high-quality housing options across new cities as part of Egypt’s comprehensive urban development strategy and the New Republic Vision.

Zone (K): From Sunday, November 2, 2025, to Sunday, November 16, 2025.

Zone (L): From Monday, November 17, to Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Zone (M): On Monday and Tuesday, December 1 and 2, 2025.

Zone (E): From Wednesday, December 3, to Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

Zone (F): From Thursday, December 11, 2025, to Monday, January 5, 2026.

Zone (D): On Tuesday, January 6, and Sunday, January 11, 2026.
Additionally, January 8 and January 11, 2026, will be designated for recipients who missed their scheduled handover dates.
As for the Third District, the handover of land plots in Zone (H) will take place from Monday, January 12, to Thursday, January 29, 2026, with the period from February 1 to February 5, 2026, reserved for delayed handovers.
The Head of the Authority stressed that all recipients must visit the Real Estate Department at the Authority’s headquarters to open a file for their assigned plot. They must present proof of payment of all financial dues along with the required documents. The handover may be completed in person or through a special power of attorney that specifies the purpose. Additionally, recipients are required to pay 1.5% of the plot’s total value upon receipt, and the first installment must be paid within one month, as stated in the project’s terms and conditions booklet.
