Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, announced a public lottery for the Rawdat El-Obour housing units, the most distinguished residential lands in Obour City, and the distinguished housing units in New Mansoura. The lottery took place at Cairo Stadium in the presence of many applicants.
Dr. Hassan El-Shorbagi, Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority, explained that the number of distinguished housing units in New Mansoura reached 890, with 303 applicants from people of determination and 9,343 from the general public. In Obour City, 456 units were offered in the Rawdat El-Obour project, with 23 applicants from people of determination and 1,485 from other customers. Additionally, two plots of land for the most distinguished housing category were available, attracting 153 applicants from the general public and one from people of determination.
Sakan Misr Apartments and Distinguished Lands
El-Shorbagi stated that a public lottery would be conducted for Sakan Misr units, distinguished lands in New Nasser City, West Assiut, New Qena, New Sohag, New Akhmim, and New Mallawi. Additionally, medium-category lands in New Beni Suef City will be included in the lottery, which is set to take place on February 19, 2025. Meanwhile, the lottery for distinguished lands in Sadat City will be held on February 20, 2025.
Jannah Apartments and Most Distinguished Lands
He also noted that the public lottery for Jannah units and the most distinguished housing lands on the 6th of October City will occur on February 24, 2025, at the Cairo International Stadium (main field). Additionally, the lottery for Jannah units in New Cairo City is scheduled for February 25, 2025, while the medium-category lands in New Borg El Arab City will be drawn on February 26, 2025.
It is important to note that only applicants who have paid the booking deposit will be allowed to attend the public lottery. The event will be broadcast live on the official website of the New Urban Communities Authority. Furthermore, individuals who violated the terms of the reservation booklet or failed to meet the eligibility criteria have been excluded from participating in the lottery.
