Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced that three public lotteries will be held on Monday and Tuesday, October 13 and 14, 2025, to allocate land plots to citizens who have paid the required deposits for lands whose status has been settled in the areas of Qadisiyah, Kilometer 48, and Al-Amal (formerly) in New Obour City, according to the plan set by the New Obour City Development Authority.
Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny stressed the importance of continuing efforts to finalize the settlement of citizen and entity cases on lands added to several new cities, while ensuring optimal land-use planning in these areas to help establish integrated and sustainable urban communities.

For his part, Engineer Mahmoud Murad, Head of the New Obour City Development Authority, stated that Public Manual Lottery No. 19 will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Authority’s headquarters. This lottery aims to allocate land to applicants who paid the deposits for plots with settled status as of September 18, 2025, within the Qadisiyah and Kilometer 48 areas (formerly). The plots available in this round range between 209 and 500 square meters.
He added that Public Manual Lottery No. 20 will take place on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, also at the Authority’s headquarters, for applicants who paid their deposits up to the same date. This lottery will cover land plots in the Qadisiyah and Kilometer 48 areas (formerly) with plot sizes ranging from 276 to 450 square meters.
Engineer Mahmoud Murad also pointed out that Public Manual Lottery No. 18 will be organized on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the Authority’s headquarters. This lottery will be dedicated to citizens who paid deposits for lands whose status has been settled in the Al-Amal area (formerly), covering plot sizes between 209 and 500 square meters.
The Authority’s head explained that registration for attendance will open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 12:00 noon on the designated lottery days. No one will be allowed entry after the doors are closed. He emphasized that participants must present valid identification along with the original payment receipt in order to attend the lottery.
