Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Engineer Randa El-Menshawy affirmed the ministry’s commitment to responding to the demands of citizens and landowners in the “Beit Al Watan” project. She also emphasized following up on the implementation of roads, utilities, and site coordination works according to the specified executive plans and programs.
The ministry is also working to remove any obstacles that could affect the progress of work and address any observations identified during field inspections immediately. This came during the Housing Minister’s follow-up on the implementation of roads, utilities, and service works in the “Beit Al Watan” areas in several new cities.
She stressed the need to maintain and accelerate implementation rates and intensify field inspections of various ongoing utility projects. This aims to ensure the rapid completion of works and improve the efficiency of infrastructure and services provided to citizens.
In New Cairo, lighting works have been completed in most neighborhoods and areas of “Beit Al Watan,” while implementation and operation works are continuing. This contributes to improving service levels and preparing the areas for citizens.
Road construction works are also ongoing, with aggregate and asphalt layers being implemented and completed according to technical specifications and approved execution plans. Work is also progressing to complete the remaining works successively in line with the specified timelines.
The minister also followed up on the implementation of utility works for land plots within the “Beit Al Watan” project in New Minya. These works include the utilities project for the 310-feddan area, which serves the eighth, ninth, and tenth phases of “Beit Al Watan,” comprising a total of 343 land plots.
In New Mansoura, work is being accelerated on utility projects in the “Beit Al Watan” area. The minister followed up on the works on site and reviewed implementation rates, while stressing the need to adhere to the specified timelines and execute the works according to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This should match the scale of urban development and expansion taking place in the city.
In New Beni Suef, implementation rates for utility works in the 11th and 12th residential districts were reviewed as part of the “Beit Al Watan” project. The works include drinking water and wastewater networks, as well as road works in the targeted districts. The project has reached an advanced stage of completion.
At the conclusion of the follow-up, Engineer Randa El-Menshawy affirmed that work would continue across the various “Beit Al Watan” sectors in the new cities, with priority given to areas requiring urgent interventions to complete infrastructure components and improve service levels.
