Eng. Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a series of meetings at the New Alamein City Development Authority headquarters with the heads of real estate development and marketing companies City Edge Developments, Founders, and Saudi Egyptian Developers in New Alamein City.
The meetings focused on following up on the marketing, sales, and handover rates of units in projects affiliated with the New Urban Communities Authority, as well as the status of partnership projects.
The meetings were attended by Dr. Walid Abbas, deputy minister of housing for new urban communities; ministry officials, and the head of the New Alamein City Development Authority, with the aim of maximizing the benefits of investments injected into development projects and increasing occupancy rates in new cities.
Eng. Randa El Menshawy noted that the Ministry of Housing regularly monitors the status of unit sales, marketing, and handovers across various projects in implementation of the state’s plan to maximize returns from urban development projects.
She pointed out that the ministry has successfully implemented a large number of housing and development projects across various new cities in recent years, which requires continued development of marketing and promotional mechanisms and increasing the factors that make these projects attractive.
This would contribute to attracting investors and customers and achieving sustainable urban development targets. The meetings reviewed the status of sales and handovers in a number of New Urban Communities Authority projects across several new cities, including the New Administrative Capital, Sheikh Zayed, New Alamein, New Mansoura, and New Cairo.
The meetings also discussed several proposals for offering new investment opportunities and expanding partnership projects with the private sector in various forms, according to mechanisms aimed at attracting more investors and real estate developers. This would support urban development plans and ensure the optimal utilization of the assets and projects being implemented by the state.
At the conclusion of the meetings, Eng. Randa El Menshawy directed that procedures for handing over ready-to-deliver units to applicants be completed promptly according to the specified schedules, with full adherence to the highest quality standards.
She also directed the continuation of well-planned marketing campaigns using the latest marketing methods to ensure higher sales and occupancy rates, maximize project returns, and support the state’s efforts to develop integrated and sustainable urban communities.
