Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with Engineer Abdel Sadeq El-Shorbagy, Chairman of the National Press Authority, at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The meeting was held to explore opportunities for joint cooperation and was attended by several officials from the ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority.

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny expressed his deep appreciation for the role of journalism and media in addressing national issues and enhancing public awareness. He affirmed his commitment to supporting national press institutions and providing all necessary facilities to meet their needs, contributing to the stability of these institutions and enabling them to fulfill their vital role.

The meeting discussed the efforts of the National Press Authority to optimize the use of the resources and assets of national press institutions, with a focus on coordinating the use of lands, properties, and projects that generate income to support their financial sustainability. The Minister of Housing emphasized the importance of ongoing coordination with the Authority to meet its requirements. In return, Engineer Abdel Sadeq El-Shorbagy thanked the Minister for his support of the press institutions and his role in improving the quality of life for citizens.
