Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, accompanied by officials, inspected the Mazarine Compound project during his tour of New Alamein City. At the beginning of the tour, the prime minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing a diverse range of housing units that meet the needs of different income groups.
He noted that this comes within the framework of Egypt’s unprecedented urban expansion, particularly in new cities across all governorates, contributing to the provision of high-quality housing within integrated urban communities supported by advanced infrastructure.
For her part, Engineer Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, stated that the Mazarine project is one of the largest integrated urban communities in New Alamein City. The development includes a fully integrated residential, recreational, commercial, and administrative community, along with a comprehensive network of services, green spaces, and open areas.
She added that the project reflects the remarkable urban transformation witnessed in New Alamein City over recent years, particularly after progressing from the construction phase to full operation and the delivery of housing units. During the tour, the Prime Minister received a briefing from Dr. Engineer Mohamed Khalafallah, Head of the New Alamein City Development Authority and Supervisor of the Tourist Villages Authority.
He explained that the Mazarine Compound is being developed on an area of 707 feddans on the southern shore of Alamein Lakes and comprises a total of 7,999 residential units, including villas, chalets, and apartment buildings, all offering direct views of the lakes and the Towers District.
Regarding the status of unit deliveries, Khalafallah noted that 916 units were handed over in September 2025, while 2,022 units were delivered in July 2026. The procedures for handing over the remaining units are continuing, reflecting the project’s rapid and efficient implementation.
During the inspection, the Prime Minister toured several model residential units within the project. He also reviewed the readiness of villas and chalets for handover in Zone 1 and Zone 2, inspected the quality of interior finishes and overall site landscaping, and verified the readiness of the units, infrastructure, and services in preparation for completing the handover process in accordance with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
