Eng. Randa El-Menshawy, minister of housing, utilities, and urban communities, met with Abdullah Al-Sahi, managing director of UAE-based Modon Holding Group, and his accompanying delegation at the headquarters of the New Alamein City Development Authority to follow up on the implementation status and developments of the Ras El Hekma project and review the latest progress of ongoing works.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Walid Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing for New Urban Communities, officials from the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), and the Head of the Ras El Hekma City Development Authority.
The delegation from UAE-based Modon Group included Suleiman Al-Saksak, Executive Director of the Ras El Hekma Project; Counselor Seif El-Din Ali, Strategic Advisor to Modon Holding Group; and Ahmed Khamis, Chief Operating Officer of Red Ras El Hekma.
Eng. Randa El-Menshawy noted that the Ras El Hekma project represents an important model of Egyptian-UAE investment and development cooperation and reflects the strength of relations between the two countries.

She stressed the ministry’s commitment to providing all forms of support and the necessary coordination for the project, contributing to creating a suitable environment for investments, accelerating the pace of work on the project, and maximizing the benefit from the significant potential and advantages of the Ras El Hekma site.
The meeting reviewed the project’s implementation status and progress rates across its various components, as well as the latest developments in ongoing work and implementation plans for the upcoming phase, in a manner that ensures progress in accordance with the targeted timelines.
Eng. Randa El-Menshawy emphasized the importance of continuously monitoring implementation progress on the Ras El Hekma project and ensuring full coordination among all relevant authorities and Modon while working to overcome any challenges that may affect the workflow. This will contribute to accelerating the project’s implementation and achieving its objectives.
For their part, representatives of Modon Group reviewed the latest developments in the project’s works, affirming that work is continuing in accordance with the established plans and programs, along with ongoing coordination with the relevant Egyptian authorities to accelerate implementation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the minister stressed the need to maintain coordination with the company and promptly address any developments related to implementation and infrastructure works, thereby supporting the regular progress of the project in accordance with the targeted plan.
