Engineer Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has issued 9 decisions aimed at removing encroachments and building violations in areas under the authority of the New Obour City Development Authority and the First Sector of the Northwestern Coast.

Engineer Randa El-Menshawy stressed the ongoing efforts of new city authorities to eliminate building violations and encroachments across new cities and urban communities.

She also highlighted the continuation of intensive campaigns to prevent random and unplanned activities and to maintain the civilized and organized appearance of these areas. She added that firm directives have been given to heads of city authorities to strictly address such violations.

The decisions covered the removal of building violations on several plots of land in different districts of New Obour City. These violations included the construction of buildings as well as irregular and neglected agricultural activities carried out without obtaining the necessary licenses or legal approvals.

The decisions further addressed the removal of encroachments and construction violations on plots located north and south of the Alexandria–Marsa Matrouh Coastal Road.

The violations involved the construction of block structures, reinforced concrete columns, and walls, in addition to increasing the building percentage of a chalet in one of the tourist villages under the jurisdiction of the First Sector Authority of the Northwestern Coast, all without legal authorization or the required construction permits.
