Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, continued his inspection tour in New Alamein City, reviewing progress on:
- The Latin District
- Seawater Desalination Plant
- “Housing for All Egyptians” presidential initiative
- The Heritage City
The minister was accompanied by officials from the ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), and the project teams.

- Total area: 398.79 feddans.
- Composition: 65 residential complexes with 10,597 housing units.
- Infrastructure: Green spaces, service areas, road networks, and pedestrian walkways.
- Current progress: The minister inspected one of the units, checked sales progress, and reviewed green space development and roadworks.
“Housing for All Egyptians” Project
- Total units: 1,992 apartments across 83 buildings.
- Progress: The minister urged accelerated work on finishing exteriors and installing utilities.
Heritage City Development
- Total area: 260 feddans.
- Facilities: 70 buildings, including:
- Main lake, commercial squares, exhibition grounds
- Mosque, church, Roman theater, and conference hall
- Hotels, shopping centers, and an old town district
- Cinemas and cultural venues
The minister stressed the removal of construction waste and finalizing landscaping and infrastructure to enhance the city’s appeal for residents and tourists. Many of the landmark facilities are already operational.
