Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, conducted an inspection tour today, overseeing several key projects in the Marina area, including:

  • Service road upgrades from Marina 1 to Marina 3.
  • New Marina Lake development.
  • Residential projects in Marina 8.
  • General site inspection of M8 by the Lake project.

The minister was accompanied by ministry officials, project representatives, and Dr. Eng. Mohamed Khalafallah, Head of the Tourist Villages Authority.

New Marina Lake Project

  • Total area: 820,000 m².
  • Infrastructure: Two pump stations, pipeline networks, and a water tunnel.
  • Progress: Daily excavation rates have increased from 30,000 m³ to 40,000 m³.

Marina 8 Development

  • Total area: 179 feddans.
  • Residential units: 917 units within 243 buildings of chalets and villas.
  • Infrastructure: Roads, utilities, and landscaping improvements.

Enhancing Marina’s Aesthetic and Infrastructure

Minister El-Sherbiny also reviewed:

  • Marina 2 gate design, instructing that the same design be implemented across all Marina gates.
  • Green spaces and waste removal, urging speedy completion of all ongoing projects.
