Eng. Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, followed up on the implementation progress of housing projects and the completion works of the “Sakan Misr” project in Shorouk City, as well as the “Sakan Misr” and “Janna” housing projects in the sixth district of the second phase in New Mansoura City.

In this regard, Eng. Randa El-Menshawy reviewed the results of the inspection tour conducted by Eng. Mohamed Ahmed Zakaria, Head of the Shorouk City Development Authority, to follow up on the completion works of the “Sakan Misr” project.

He inspected 9 residential buildings within the phase currently under completion and followed up on the interior finishing works in several units to assess the level of implementation and ensure that the works comply with the approved technical and engineering specifications.

The “Sakan Misr” project in Shorouk City includes 2,736 housing units, of which 2,520 units have been completed so far, while the current phase involves completing the construction of 9 residential buildings.

Eng. Randa El-Menshawy directed that implementation rates be accelerated and that the scheduled timeline be followed. She also stressed addressing any observations promptly and maintaining the quality of the works to ensure the project is completed to the required standards.

In New Mansoura City, Eng. Randa El-Menshawy reviewed the results of the inspection tour conducted by Eng. El-Sayed Ahmed Hammam, Head of the New Mansoura City Development Authority, in the sixth district of the second phase to follow up on the implementation rates of housing and utility projects.

The tour included inspecting the buildings of the “Sakan Misr” project, which includes 44 buildings, and the “Janna” project, which includes 224 buildings in the second phase.

The Head of the City Development Authority followed up on the implementation status, completion rates, finishing works, and utilities associated with the projects. He also followed up on utility works in the district, including drinking water and sewage networks, roads, electricity works, and services associated with the housing projects.

Eng. Randa El-Menshawy stressed the need to continue field tours and daily follow-up of various housing and utility projects in both cities. This is to monitor implementation rates, accelerate the works, and ensure compliance with the specified schedules and technical specifications.

These efforts will contribute to completing the urban development system in the second phase of New Mansoura City and providing fully serviced residential areas for city residents, while also ensuring that the “Sakan Misr” project in Shorouk City is completed to the required standards.
