Eng. Randa El Menshawy, minister of housing, utilities, and urban communities, met with officials from Housing and Development Properties (HDP) as part of the periodic follow-up on the sales and marketing performance of projects affiliated with the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) and discussions on the latest marketing plans and investment opportunities. The meeting was attended by Dr. Walid Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing for New Urban Communities, along with a number of ministry and company officials.
Eng. Randa El Menshawy emphasized that the ministry is working to develop the marketing system for urban development projects based on a vision aimed at maximizing returns from state-owned assets and promoting new cities as integrated communities that provide the requirements for housing, work, and investment, thereby enhancing their ability to attract various segments of investors and citizens.

The minister of housing added that expanding cooperation with the private sector represents one of the key pillars of the ministry’s strategy through leveraging marketing and investment expertise, increasing occupancy rates, and ensuring the optimal utilization of state-developed projects, which would have a positive impact on economic and urban development rates.
During the meeting, the sales and marketing status of a number of projects was reviewed, including the “West View” project in Sheikh Zayed City, in addition to following up on the marketing status of several projects in New Alamein City and the New Capital.
The meeting also discussed mechanisms to accelerate marketing and sales rates and maximize the investment returns of the projects, in support of the ministry’s plans to develop new cities and increase their attractiveness for investment and housing. Company officials also presented the proposed concept for launching an integrated advertising campaign for one of the projects planned to be implemented in New Alamein City.
The campaign will focus on highlighting the project’s investment and urban development potential, as well as the rapid growth the city is experiencing, in order to reach the largest possible segment of customers inside and outside Egypt, contributing to enhancing the project’s investment appeal.
