Minister of Housing, Sherif El-Sherbiny, has handed over residential unit contracts to beneficiaries under the fourteenth phase of the “Housing for All Egyptians 1” presidential initiative in Hadayek October City.
The event was attended by Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Mortgage Finance Fund, along with senior ministry officials. The minister emphasized that, under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the initiative aims to provide suitable housing units for low- and middle-income citizens, offering tailored financial support to each category.
The minister highlighted that a number of units have been delivered, with the remaining allocations to be handed over successively. He explained that the Housing for All Egyptians national project includes more than one million housing units and offers fully integrated service communities. The ministry also has plans to expand in high-demand cities to meet the housing needs of all Egyptians.

For her part, Mai Abdel Hamid presented the implementation progress of the project’s units. She stated that 764,000 housing units for low-income citizens have been completed, while 238,000 additional units are currently under construction.
Abdel Hamid also discussed the Green Housing program, which includes 59,550 environmentally friendly units. She noted that 671,000 citizens have benefited from the initiative, with mortgage financing reaching EGP 101 billion and direct cash support amounting to EGP 10.3 billion.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Abdullah, Head of the Hadayek October City Authority, congratulated the beneficiaries and pointed out the city’s strategic location west of Giza, near the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. This makes it a vital urban expansion zone featuring social and middle-income housing, as well as integrated service and recreational areas.
