Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has announced the commencement of the delivery of 114 land plots designated for the construction of cemeteries for Egyptians working abroad. This delivery is part of the eighth phase of the project, with each land plot accommodating ten cemetery units, located in New Cairo.
Delivery Schedule
Regarding the timeline, the minister clarified that the handover will be carried out in phases, beginning on Sunday, August 17, 2025, and continuing until Thursday, November 13, 2025, following a specific schedule set by the New Cairo City Authority.
Engineer Abdel Raouf El-Ghaity, Head of the New Cairo City Development Authority, outlined the detailed schedule:

Group 1 (Plots 1–10) will be ready for delivery from Sunday, August 17 to Thursday, August 21, 2025.

Group 2 (Plots 11–20) will be delivered between Sunday, August 24 and Thursday, August 28, 2025.
Subsequent phases will continue over the following days, at a pace of two plots per day, with plot groups scheduled in sequence until Thursday, November 5, 2025.
Extra Days for Missed Appointments
To ensure all beneficiaries receive their allocated plots, additional days have been allocated for those who missed their original delivery appointments. These extra days will run from Sunday, November 9 to Thursday, November 13, 2025.
