Housing Minister Announces Launch of Phase 10 of “Beit Al-Watan” Project for Egyptians Abroad

Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the launch of the online platform for obtaining reservation codes for 2,974 residential plots as part of Phase 10 of the “Beit Al-Watan” project. The plots are spread across 13 cities and will be available starting Sunday, January 12, 2025, in coordination with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Central Bank of Egypt.

The minister stated that bank transfers from Egyptians living abroad will be accepted starting Tuesday, January 14, 2025, for a period of 15 working days. The transfer must include the reservation code for the desired plot of land. Interested applicants can access the project’s booklet and land details on the designated website, with reservations prioritized based on the order of received bank transfers.

The residential plots offered in Phase 10 are located in:

  • New Cairo
  • 6th of October City
  • Sheikh Zayed City
  • 10th of Ramadan City
  • New Damietta
  • Sadat City
  • 15th of May City
  • New October City
  • New Obour City
  • Capital Gardens City
  • New Minya
  • New Aswan
  • New Qena

Minister El-Sherbiny emphasized the ministry’s commitment to providing Egyptians abroad with opportunities to own and build their homes, strengthening their connection to their homeland. He highlighted the success of the “Beit Al-Watan” initiative, which has been highly popular since its launch in 2012. The project has offered thousands of residential plots and housing units in various configurations, receiving widespread approval from Egyptians living overseas.
