In line with the directives of Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, regarding the necessity of regularly monitoring the implementation status of national projects underway in New Alamein City, Dr. Engineer Mohamed Khalafallah, Head of the New Alamein City Authority and Supervisor of the Tourist Villages Authority, conducted his first field tour today. The visit covered a number of residential and developmental projects in the city, accompanied by deputy heads, assistants, department directors, and representatives of the contracting companies executing the projects.
The Head of the Authority began his tour by inspecting the Mazarine Compound Project to assess the actual progress on site. He issued clear directives, including the need for continuous waste removal, improving visual appearance in handover areas, accelerating the completion of landscaping works with priority given to delivery-ready zones, and increasing the workforce on site to speed up achievement.

He emphasized that the tour also included monitoring the execution of utility networks, in addition to inspecting C23 Bridge and several infrastructure projects, as well as roads and landscaping works along the city’s main axes, ensuring tangible progress on the ground.
The Head of the Authority highlighted the commitment of the city authority to implementing state directives on accelerating project completion, stressing that no delays will be tolerated in handing over residential units to beneficiaries. He added that precise timelines will be set, with daily follow-up on works to guarantee adherence to scheduled deadlines.
He further underlined the importance of enhancing public cleanliness, site organization, and completing facade finishing, in order to present a city that reflects Egypt’s modern and urban identity. He affirmed that New Alamein City is a national showcase, and nothing less than the highest quality standards in project execution and services will be accepted.
He also noted that the coming period will witness more intensive field tours to follow up on all residential, service, and developmental projects. He confirmed that discipline and adherence to quality standards are fundamental to achieving the sustainable urban development goals set by the state.
