The announcement came during the minister of housing’s follow-up on the progress of several projects currently under implementation in Hadayek, 10th of Ramadan City. Eng. Randa El Menshawy stressed the importance of continuous monitoring of housing projects in the new cities, completing infrastructure works, upgrading essential utilities, accelerating implementation rates, and adhering to the approved project schedules.
The minister affirmed that the Green Housing Project, implemented under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians,” is one of the ministry’s leading national projects within the framework of Egypt’s sustainable urban development strategy.
The project aims to provide integrated residential communities based on environmental sustainability standards and efficient resource and energy utilization, contributing to improving citizens’ quality of life while creating modern and advanced urban communities.
In this context, officials from the Hadayek 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority explained that electricity has been successfully connected to the expansion distribution station (DB10), representing a significant milestone in completing the project’s utilities and infrastructure network.
The step enhances the efficiency of the electrical supply and supports ongoing construction activities across the various project phases in line with the scale of work currently underway.
The officials added that the completion of utilities and service facilities is progressing in parallel with construction activities under a comprehensive plan aimed at fully equipping the project with all necessary infrastructure components in preparation for its planned urban appearance. Continuous coordination among the relevant authorities is also being maintained to ensure compliance with the highest quality standards and the targeted implementation schedule.
In the same context, Eng. Ahmed Mohamed Abdel Razek, head of the Hadayek 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority, accompanied by authority officials and representatives of the executing companies, inspected the latest developments and implementation progress of the fifth phase of the Green Housing Project (Housing for All Egyptians).
The inspection tour included monitoring the interior and exterior finishing works of the residential units, as well as utility networks, road construction, and landscape development. The implementation rates of the project’s various components were reviewed, with emphasis placed on adhering to the approved technical specifications and project timelines to ensure high-quality execution and maximum efficiency.
The Hadayek 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority also continued implementing upgrading works and improving the city’s visual appearance across various neighborhoods. The works included the removal of waste and demolition debris, enhancing general cleanliness, and grading roads in Al Rabie District (26) and Al Raihan District (33), contributing to improving the city’s overall urban landscape.
Meanwhile, sidewalk construction and interlock paving installation continue along the main roads in front of Al Rabie District (26) as part of the authority’s plan to upgrade traffic corridors and enhance urban landscaping.
Road rehabilitation and asphalt improvement works are also underway along the main roads extending from Al Waha District (17) to Al Rabie District (26), in addition to the main roads in Al Raihan District (33), with the aim of improving the road network’s efficiency, enhancing traffic flow, and facilitating movement throughout the city.
