Engineer Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the start of handing over allocated housing units under the Sakan Misr project in the Distinguished District of New West Qena City. The handover will take place according to the scheduled timetable from Monday, July 13, 2026, through Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
Randa El Menshawy stressed the importance of continuing the implementation of housing unit delivery plans according to the approved schedules while adhering to the highest quality standards to ensure the provision of fully integrated housing units that meet citizens’ needs and enhance their quality of life.
Engineer Radwan Abdel Rashid, Head of the New West Qena City Authority, confirmed that the handover process will be carried out according to the designated building and unit numbers assigned for each day, as follows:
- Monday, July 13, 2026: Delivery of units in Buildings No. 1, 3, 4, 6, 12, 15, 22, and 23.
- Tuesday, July 14, 2026: Delivery of units in Buildings No. 23, 24, and 40.
- Wednesday, July 15, 2026: Delivery of units in Buildings No. 16 and 17.
- Thursday, July 16, 2026: Delivery of units in Buildings No. 21 and 9.
- Monday, July 20, 2026: Delivery of units in Buildings No. 10 and 19.
- Tuesday, July 21, 2026: Delivery of units in Buildings No. 38 and 35.
- Wednesday, July 22, 2026: Delivery of units in Buildings No. 37 and 36.
The Head of the New West Qena City Authority urged beneficiaries to adhere to the scheduled dates assigned to their respective buildings and units to facilitate the handover procedures.
The authority also designated Monday and Tuesday, July 27 and 28, 2026, for handing over units to beneficiaries who were unable to receive their units on their originally scheduled dates.
