Many citizens are interested in learning the details about the prices of cooperative housing apartments offered by the Ministry of Housing, represented by the General Authority for Building and Housing Cooperatives. Registration for 253 residential units in prime locations will open starting December 1st of this year.
Cooperative Housing Apartment Prices
In New Cairo City, the price per meter is 25,000 EGP, and unit prices range between 3 million and 3.8 million EGP for areas starting from 123 square meters up to 150 square meters. 50% of the unit’s value is paid before receipt, while the remainder can be paid in installments over 5 years. A 25% discount is available for immediate full payment.
In the Lulu’at 6 October project, the price per meter is 18,000 EGP, with apartment prices ranging between 2.25 million and 2.8 million EGP. 40% of the unit’s value is paid upfront, and the remainder can be paid in installments over a period of 5 or 7 years. A 25% discount is also granted for full payment.
In the 10th of Ramadan City, the price per meter is 7,000 EGP, with unit prices ranging between 470,000 and 840,000 EGP. All units are ready for delivery immediately after completing the procedures and paying the dues.
How to Reserve Cooperative Housing Apartments
Starting from the 1st until the 25th of December, the terms and conditions booklet can be purchased for 500 EGP from the Authority’s main headquarters in Nasr City or the Authority’s branch in the Faycal district of Suez governorate. The booklet contains all information regarding the conditions, specifications, and required financial amounts.

The Authority clarified that a public allocation lottery will be held to assign units among applicants according to the dates specified in the terms and conditions booklet for each project.
The lottery will take place at 12:00 PM in the main hall of the Authority’s main headquarters, except for the lottery of the Madinat Al Amal project in Suez, which will be held at the Authority’s branch there. Full payment allows subscribers to choose a unit directly before the lottery is conducted.
