Dr. Eng. Mohamed Khalaf Allah, Head of the Tourist Village Authority, conducted an inspection visit to oversee the commencement of construction work on “El-Boughaz,” the first navigational corridor linking the Northern Marina to its southern expansions in New Marina. Eng accompanied him. Amr Mohie, Deputy Head of the Authority, Eng. Mina Raafat, Assistant Head of the Authority, and directors of the relevant departments.
The Head of the Authority pointed out that El-Boughaz, 550 meters long, is considered the most crucial navigational passage for supplying the southern lakes with water from the Mediterranean Sea.
He further added that the structural designs and execution work will take into account the movement of tourist boats between Marina’s lakes, providing multiple opportunities for Marina residents and visitors to enjoy the lakes and tourist villages. Additionally, it will allow them to benefit from the services planned in the southern expansions of Marina.
In the same context, Dr. Eng. Mohamed Khalaf Allah announced the continuation of efforts to upgrade and develop the Marina’s entrances and introduce urban enhancements that align with the external development works in front of the Marina Alamein Tourist Center.
Dr. Eng. Mohamed Khalaf Allah also inspected the progress of housing and lake projects in the area and reviewed the advancement of lake works in the southern expansions of the New Marina by the Lake project.
Additionally, the Head of the Authority examined the implementation progress of the dual carriageway project, finding the execution rate moderate. He emphasized to the executing company the importance of adhering to the scheduled deadlines to complete the work according to the required quality and specifications, as per the agreed-upon timeline.
