Dr. Engineer Marwa Hussein, Head of the New Administrative Capital Authority, carried out a comprehensive inspection tour of the Third Residential District, accompanied by Engineer Mohamed Arafa, Deputy Head of the Authority for Housing, in addition to a number of engineers from the Housing Department and representatives of the companies executing maintenance and development works.
The tour was conducted as part of the regular monitoring of implementation progress and to assess the status of various housing projects within the New Capital.
Upgrading “Your Home in Egypt” Buildings to the Highest Quality Levels
The inspection tour covered the second and third neighborhoods within the Third Residential District, where ongoing upgrading works for the “Your Home in Egypt” residential buildings were reviewed.
The project aims to enhance the quality of residential units and services offered to residents within the framework of the state’s strategy to advance housing developments and strengthen the urban infrastructure of the New Administrative Capital.
During the tour, the head of the authority emphasized the need for strict adherence to the established timelines for completing the works while also increasing implementation rates and expanding workforce numbers across project sites to speed up completion and ensure units are delivered on schedule.
Dr. Engineer Marwa Hussein further highlighted the importance of applying the highest quality standards in all stages of execution, including construction materials, finishing works, and maintenance activities.
She noted that the New Capital Authority places significant focus on maintaining the urban appearance of residential developments in a manner that reflects the modern and sophisticated identity of the New Administrative Capital.
She also instructed that greater attention be directed toward site coordination works and building facades, alongside the simultaneous implementation of landscaping activities, to achieve the highest standards of quality and excellence throughout the project.
In a separate inspection, the Head of the Authority visited the central services area, “Al Waha,” to monitor the final finishing works, review the progress of landscaping and exterior facade activities, and confirm that implementation is proceeding according to the approved schedule.
The head of the authority stated that the new capital is experiencing a significant urban and developmental transformation aligned with the state’s vision of establishing integrated residential communities that provide top-quality services and living standards while meeting citizens’ needs and improving quality of life in new urban cities.
She added that the New Capital Authority continues to carry out development plans and maintain continuous field monitoring of projects to ensure swift completion and achieve the highest execution standards in support of the state’s sustainable urban development strategy.
