Eng. Ayman Rashad, Head of the New Sohag City Development Authority, met with factory owners in the industrial zone to review their demands, proposals, and challenges. The meeting comes in line with the directives of Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, to remove obstacles and support industrial growth in new cities.
Rashad emphasized the state’s commitment to industrial projects as a means to activate factories, provide job opportunities, reduce unemployment, and enhance exports to increase national income and secure foreign currency.
During the meeting, issues such as power outages, waste collection bins, sidewalk improvements, tree planting, and activating the civil defense point were discussed. Rashad pledged to resolve the problems related to the authority and coordinate with other relevant entities.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of thanks between the head of the authority and the factory owners, who praised the professionalism and cooperation of the authority’s team.
