Engineer Mahmoud Mourad, Head of the New Obour City Authority, affirmed that the authority is proceeding with status regularization files in accordance with the directives and recommendations of Engineer Randa El Menshawy, which emphasize accelerating procedures, addressing obstacles facing citizens, and ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This comes within the framework of the authority’s open-door policy aimed at meeting citizens and resolving pending issues.
Expanded Meeting with Al Rawda Al Khadraa Association on Regularization Procedures
As part of these efforts, Engineer Mahmoud Mourad met with a number of members of the Petroleum Housing Association “Al Rawda Al Khadraa,” in the presence of the Deputy Head of the Authority and the Director of the Legal Affairs Department, to review and respond to inquiries related to the status reconciliation file.
During the meeting, several important issues were discussed, with officials stressing the need for the association to appoint a legal representative authorized to act on behalf of its members, in line with the applicable legal procedures.
Officials also emphasized the importance of completing all necessary procedures and submitting the required documents in preparation for finalizing the regularization file and referring it to the competent reconciliation committee.
This would enable the committee to carry out its duties and apply the approved mechanisms in accordance with the regulations of the Policy Committee for Dealing with Added Lands, formed by a decision of the Prime Minister.
The Head of the Authority reiterated the authority’s commitment to providing all possible support and facilitation while fully adhering to the governing laws and regulations, in a way that guarantees stability for association members and safeguards the rights of all parties. This aligns with the state’s directives to accelerate development and regularize statuses in added areas.
Engineer Mahmoud Mourad further stated that the city authority continues intensive efforts to speed up the completion of status regularization files in added areas, in line with state plans aimed at achieving urban stability and protecting citizens’ rights.
He noted that the authority is keen to maintain direct communication and cooperation with associations and residents to address any challenges that may delay regularization procedures.
He added that the authority’s open-door policy is part of broader efforts to strengthen trust between citizens and executive bodies through direct engagement with residents’ concerns and by working toward practical and timely solutions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
He also confirmed that all submitted files are subject to continuous follow-up to ensure procedures are completed promptly and to maximize progress in status reconciliation files, supporting development efforts in added areas and enhancing both social and urban stability.
