Engineer Mohamed El-Azzouni has continued conducting intensive field inspections to detect building violations and handle them immediately as part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to enforce order, preserve the city’s civilized and urban identity, and prevent any unauthorized construction activities.
The Head of the Authority oversaw a large-scale security campaign targeting the removal of an unlicensed construction violation on Plot 274 in the Second District, Third Neighborhood. The operation included the full demolition of the illegal upper structure of the fourth-floor roof. This action was carried out in coordination with the concerned authorities and the relevant executive departments within the authority.
The campaign was attended by the authority’s deputies, along with representatives from the Security Department, Neighborhoods Department, Surveying Department, and Development Department, in addition to the New Urban Communities Police, to ensure the enforcement of demolition decisions and the immediate execution of legal measures against violators.
Ongoing Monitoring Campaigns Against Building Violations in New Minya
Engineer Mohamed El-Azzouni affirmed that the New Minya City Authority is continuing its daily efforts to strengthen field monitoring across all districts of the city, stressing that any building violation is addressed decisively from the outset to prevent escalation and preserve the city’s urban character.
He added that these continuous campaigns aim to eliminate random practices and prevent any encroachments or violations that could impact urban planning, noting that clear instructions have been issued to swiftly remove any detected violations and apply deterrent legal actions against offenders.
He further pointed out that the state places significant importance on protecting new cities and preventing informal construction in order to enhance citizens’ quality of life and maintain the aesthetic and civilized image of modern urban communities.
The Head of New Minya City Authority emphasized that inspection campaigns will continue in cooperation with security and executive agencies, confirming that strict action will be taken against any attempt to violate building regulations or encroach upon state-owned land within the city.
