This comes within the framework of continuous follow-up to enhance service levels and improve the city’s civilized and aesthetic image.

During his field tour, the head of the authority emphasized the importance of intensifying cleaning efforts across all districts on a continuous basis, in addition to strengthening central islands and green spaces with plants and flowers.
This aims to preserve the city’s aesthetic appearance and enhance its visual landscape, while stressing the need for daily monitoring of maintenance and landscaping works to maintain the city’s civilized character.

Upgrading Main Axes in Preparation for the Summer Season
Ashraf Fathy also followed up on road maintenance works and ongoing modifications in several traffic axes aimed at ensuring smoother traffic flow and maintaining citizen safety. He stressed the importance of completing all work according to the approved schedules, engineering standards, and technical specifications.
He further highlighted the necessity of addressing all forms of encroachments and street occupation in front of commercial shops, while ensuring that all commercial activities comply with regulations and preventing any random practices that could distort the city’s civilized appearance or infringe upon green areas and public facilities.
The head of the authority confirmed that regular inspection campaigns are being conducted to immediately deal with any violations, noting that the city authority will not tolerate infringements on state rights or any forms of encroachments in order to preserve the city’s civilized and aesthetic character and maintain order in streets and main axes.
In line with the Head of the Authority’s directives to swiftly restore sites to their original condition after maintenance works, operation and maintenance companies continue implementing resurfacing and road upgrading works across various districts, ensuring smooth traffic movement and facilitating citizens’ mobility.
As part of the tour, the head of the authority also inspected ongoing preparations in the private beach area ahead of the upcoming summer season, stressing the importance of providing full services and achieving maximum readiness while ensuring round-the-clock operations to deliver the best possible level of service to citizens and visitors throughout the summer season.
