He was accompanied by Engineer Hussein Al-Ahmadi, Vice Head of the Authority for Implementation; Engineer Ramadan Abdel-Samad, Vice Head of the Authority for Development; Engineer Emad Shehata, Vice Head of the Authority for Electricity; the Director of the Agriculture Department; and officials from both the Dar Misr and Madinaty projects. The tour aimed to follow up on ongoing maintenance activities and enhance the efficiency of services provided to residents.

The Head of the Authority stressed the importance of continuing daily maintenance work for green areas and irrigation systems to preserve the project’s civilized appearance, alongside continuous monitoring of all ongoing activities throughout the day.
He also instructed cleaning companies to intensify waste collection and street sweeping operations to ensure public health and safety, emphasizing the need to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across all areas.

In addition, he highlighted the necessity of regular maintenance of lighting poles and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and the highest levels of safety and service for residents. He further pointed out the Roads Department’s ongoing efforts to repair potholes and carry out immediate and continuous maintenance work.
Mohamed Ahmed Zakaria affirmed that El Shorouk City Authority is operating across all areas of the city to achieve the highest level of services for citizens, noting that continuous cooperation between the authority and residents is a key factor for success and development.
Ongoing Development of Services and Infrastructure in El Shorouk City
He added that his deputies and department directors continue their daily field inspections of maintenance and development works to ensure implementation in accordance with the highest technical and engineering standards, while promptly responding to any observations recorded within the project.
He explained that improving the quality of life for residents remains the authority’s top priority through upgrading infrastructure efficiency and public services to create a safe and well-organized residential environment that meets citizens’ expectations.
He also emphasized the importance of swiftly addressing suggestions and complaints and working to resolve them immediately, in line with the Authority’s vision of providing integrated services that keep pace with the ongoing urban development and expansion in El Shorouk City.
