As part of the state’s plan to upgrade infrastructure in industrial zones, Engineer Alaa Abdel Laah Mostafa, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority and Supervisor of Hadayek 10th of Ramadan City Authority, conducted a field tour of the A3 Industrial Zone to monitor road development and rehabilitation works. The project aims to support industrial activity, improve transportation flow, provide a more efficient environment for investors, and enhance the city’s competitiveness.
The inspection was carried out in line with the directives of Engineer Randa El Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, emphasizing the importance of continuous field monitoring, accelerating implementation rates, and adhering to the highest quality standards to strengthen infrastructure and improve the readiness of new cities to attract further investments.
Monitoring Paving Works and Upgrading the Road Network
During the tour, the Head of the Authority inspected road grading works, the placement of crushed stone base layers, asphalt paving operations, as well as the installation of curbstones and interlocking pavement.
He instructed that all works be completed according to the approved timetable while fully complying with technical specifications to ensure the delivery of a modern road network capable of efficiently handling daily traffic within the industrial zone.
He also directed the removal of all encroachments and ordered the widening of part of the industrial zone’s entrance to facilitate vehicle movement, improve traffic flow, and better accommodate industrial activities while supporting the timely completion of ongoing works.
Legal Action Against Violators to Protect Newly Paved Roads
During the inspection, the Head of the Authority observed several drivers washing factory-owned vehicles directly on newly paved asphalt surfaces, a violation that could damage the quality of the paving works and shorten the lifespan of the roads.
He immediately ordered the necessary legal measures to be taken against the violators in coordination with the Traffic Department and the relevant authorities to safeguard development projects and protect public assets.
Head of the Authority Affirms Continued Field Monitoring to Protect Investments
Engineer Alaa Abdel Laah Mostafa emphasized that preserving infrastructure projects is a shared responsibility requiring the cooperation of all government entities, investors, and workers within industrial zones. He stressed that the Authority will not tolerate any practices that damage public utilities or newly constructed roads.
He added that field inspections will continue to monitor implementation progress and ensure that all projects are completed to the highest quality standards, maximizing the benefits of state investments, supporting industrial development efforts, and improving service efficiency throughout 10th of Ramadan City.
